This took me 10 minutes to understand. Read the line on the note carefully. "I promise to pay the bearer the sum of Ten Rupees." The ₹10 note... promises to pay you ₹10. But the note IS ₹10. So what exactly is RBI promising to pay? I'm a CA. I studied monetary systems. And this still took me a moment. If you walked into RBI and said "I want what this note promises" - they'd hand you another ₹10 note. Or coins worth ₹10. The note promises itself. That's fiat currency. The value isn't in the paper. It's in the collective agreement that it has value - backed by the government's guarantee printed right there at the top. The moment enough people stop believing it, the paper becomes paper. We earn it, spend it, save it, worry about it - without ever asking what it actually is. What finance concept took you the longest to actually understand? #PersonalFinance #FinancialLiteracy #MoneyMatters #India #Economics

IIT Bombay AIR 33. Google Brain. DeepMind. Then Zuckerberg offered ₹8 crore a year. He said no. Rishabh Agrawal is building Periodic Labs. Not another AI chatbot. AI Scientists systems that read research papers, design physical experiments, run them in actual labs, and autonomously discover new materials, medicines, and physics. Backed by Jeff Bezos. $300 million raised. He left one of the most lucrative offers in AI to go build this. The conversation with Zuckerberg gets quoted a lot. Mark's line reportedly was: "In a world changing this fast, the biggest risk is not taking one." Rishabh's reply: "I appreciate it. I get the best tech, the best life, the best people. But that's not who I am." That's not bravado. That's someone who already knows what they're for. The "turned down millions" narrative always gets framed as sacrifice. Watch what actually happened: he traded a solved problem join Meta, work at scale, earn extremely well for an unsolved one. Build AI that can physically run science experiments and discover new physics. For a certain kind of person, the unsolved problem isn't the harder path. It's the only one that doesn't feel slow. I made a much smaller version of this choice when I started journey as a CA to build products at TaxBuddy. Not ₹8 crore. Not Zuckerberg. But the structure of the decision was the same: a certain path with a visible ceiling vs. an uncertain one where the ceiling might not exist yet. The people who walk away from the biggest offers aren't anti-money. They've found something that money genuinely can't calibrate. What's the problem you'd leave ₹8 crore on the table to go work on? Honest answers only. #AI #IndianFounders #PeriodicLabs #ProductThinking #CareerPivot

🎉 Exciting New Beginnings! 🚀 I am thrilled to share a significant milestone in my professional journey. Back in June 2022, I embarked on a thrilling adventure as a Tax Expert at TaxBuddy, where I had the incredible opportunity to dive into the intricate world of taxation and contribute my expertise to our clients' financial success. On 10th August marks a new chapter as I take on the role of Associate Product Manager at TaxBuddy. This transition represents not just a change in title, but a leap into an entirely new domain, where I will be working closely with our talented team to craft innovative products that cater to our clients' evolving needs. 🌟 I look forward to embracing fresh challenges, collaborating with brilliant minds, and driving impactful solutions for our valued clients. 🚀
