scrolling linkedin between classes and there it is someone's work making videos for their clients someone else just wrapped a summer internship at a company  someone's projects posted on this platform  it's not even 11am and my whole day already feels behind. second year does this thing where everyone's timeline suddenly starts moving faster than yours i'm doing stuff where i am consistently showing up write code where i am not able to shift my mind right after my content creation( literally i am trying) some days neither one moves as fast as i want then i watched a video of a senior who had completed her second year of engineering she said internalising nonchalance is one of the most important things you can build which means not pretend we don't care but reminding ourselves everyone has different timelines i want this to become the default setting in my brain. the insecurity doesn't disappear it just stops being the thing steering the day. ~Revathi Pagi

you've seen me share experiences here.but there's something I never mentioned. it has been 4 months since i started making content on social media writing scripts filming videos designing thumbnails hooks descriptions captions ufff... a lot of stuff once you are familiar with content creation... feels exciting right!! you think it's A solid thing you either have or don't. but i didn't expose them till now here Reason: what if i'm not consistent 🫠 wait does it resemble myself under confident ?? may be.. but let me clarify this- more i thought about it ,the less it felt like a confidence problem for me confidence isn't believing i'll do something it's having enough evidence that i probably will may be that's why i don't feel the urge to announce my plans anymore as a first year student figuring out things are most fascinating words that i heard from most of the ones it leads to figuring out in content creation too...but in a hard way back in college nobody gets it. "why are you making videos?" that blank face when you try to explain. the atmosphere just doesn't understand yet. then i stick to my own deadlines throughout the semester and the making YouTube videos as a first year BTech student is chaotic. but i survived . why am I confessing now? I'm saying it now because 4 months of showing up is proof enough — for me, at least. 🙂 more coming soon. pov:hey you know the creators who stand out usually have something valuable to offer, while you 're just sharing random thoughts and lessons from life...but keep posting anyway coz that's how eventually find your voice 🌺

Nobody tells you that personal branding is really about doing more not better. more!! More posts, even if they're average. More days of showing up, even when the video isn't your best work. More ideas shipped quickly instead of spending two weeks polishing one "perfect" post. At some point, I realised that quantity beats perfection because perfection is often just procrastination wearing a nicer outfit. The people who grow aren't always the ones creating masterpieces. They're the ones who keep showing up long enough to improve in public. That's the part I'm trying to get comfortable with. Just earning another chance to show up today!!😌 ~Revathi Pagi P.S. The perfect post has never built a personal brand. The next post might.
